Where do you find this stuff?

All sorts of places! Most is through people who bring in their vintage into our storefront to sell. Sometimes we pick up items at estate sales, thrift stores, and rummage sales. Occasionally, we buy items directly from stores that find old stock in their backrooms or storage units. After working with vintage clothing for over 20 years, we get a lot of referrals from friends and customers on new scores to bring to you!

Will you buy clothes from me?

Possibly! Email us a general list of what you are looking to sell, and we can talk! We prefer to buy collections in person within the Midwest, but will also consider outside of that area.

When do you ship my order?

Orders are usually shipped the next business day. After it is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Inside the United States, most orders will take between five and seven days to get to your door. All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail within the United States – you choose at checkout. Outside the United States, orders are shipped via USPS Parcel Post or USPS Global Priority Mail.

How are the items sized?

Because sizing between brands and over time fluctuate, we list the size labeled on the garment, and we also will give you the “Modern Size” - what size this would fit in today's sizing.

We also give you the measurements of the garment. Compare the measurement to garments that you already own that have a similar fit to know if the garment is right for you. For more information on sizing, refer to the sizing guide.

What if I have questions about an item? Can I get additional photos?

You may contact us with any questions that you may have. (Please include the item name in your question.) Additional photos are usually no problem, please be specific about what you want to see.

Can I return an item that I’ve purchased?

Website Shoppers: If you are dissatisfied with an item, we will take it back as long as you email us within 10 days of purchase and the item is shipped back to us within 10 days of your email. Your account will be credited when we receive the returned merchandise. (Please see the “Contact” page for our return address.) However, shipping cost is not refundable.

Please remember that returns increase our cost, so please, if you’re unsure about an item, before purchasing, email us with any questions first.

Storefront Shoppers: We are happy to returns or exchange your item within 14 days of purchase, as long as the tag is still attached and item is in the same condition it was when sold.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes! We sell select vintage items wholesale, and also our handmade notebooks and Record Jewelry. If you are interested in wholesale rates on any items, please email!

Do you have a brick and mortar store?

Yes we do! We now have a physical storefront with even more inventory not found on the site. We are located at 2965 12 Mile Road, Suite 200 in downtown Berkley, Michigan.

Can I buy your handmade notebooks or Record Jewelry at any stores in my area?

Are your clothes cleaned?

If the item is washable, it is washed. If the garment is “dry clean only”, we do not have it cleaned in order to keep the cost of the item to a minimum for you.

We can certainly try, and we always want to hear your ideas and suggestions! Please give us your input.
