OK, so maybe they’re not all “frequently asked”, but I want to try to cover anything you might be wondering!
Where do you find this stuff?
All sorts of places! Mostly from people’s personal collections, and also from estate sales, thrift stores, and rummage sales. Occasionally, I buy items directly from stores that find old stock in their backrooms or storage units. After working with vintage clothing for over 18 years, I get a lot of referrals from friends and customers on new scores to bring to you!
I’ve got some things I’m looking to sell… would you be interested?
Possibly! Email me a list of what you are looking to sell, and we can talk! I prefer to buy collections in person within Michigan/Ohio, but will also consider outside of that area, through the mail.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, with your choice of USPS Global Priority Mail or USPS Parcel Post. (See the next question for more)
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are usually shipped the next business day. After it is shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Inside the United States, most orders will take between five and seven days to get to your door. All orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail within the United States – you choose at checkout. Outside the United States, orders are shipped via USPS Parcel Post or USPS Global Priority Mail.
I’m having difficulty getting my order through
Occasionally, credit card transactions are refused on the website, for different reasons. If you have trouble completing your transaction, please contact me, and we’ll complete the order manually.
How are the items sized?
Because sizing between brands and over time fluctuate, I do not list the size labeled on the garment. You can see it sometimes in the tag picture, though.
I prefer to give you the measurements of the garment. Compare the measurement to garments that you already own that have a similar fit to know if the garment is right for you. I also give you the “modern size” as the “Reware Size”.
What if I have questions about an item? Can I get additional photos?
You may contact me with any questions that you may have. (Please include the item name in your question.) Additional photos are usually no problem, please be specific about what you want to see.
Can I return an item that I’ve purchased?
If you are dissatisfied with an item, you can totally return it. Email me within 14 days of purchase and the item will need to be postmarked within 14 days of your receiving it. Your account will be credited when I receive the returned merchandise. Shipping costs are refunded if the return is due to a damaged item or an error on my part. Shipping costs are not refundable if you are returning due to fit or a change of mind.

Do you sell wholesale?
Yes! I sell select vintage items wholesale, and also my Record Embroideries, Rescued Reads Notebooks and Record Jewelry. If you are interested in my wholesale rates on any items, please email me!
Do you have a brick and mortar store?
Reware Vintage is only selling online, and at occasional events (usually in the Metro Detroit area – upcoming events are listed at the bottom of the site).

Are your clothes cleaned?
If the item is washable, I wash it when I purchase it. If the garment is “dry clean only” or otherwise un-washable, I do not have it cleaned in order to keep the cost of the item to a minimum for you.
