I got this T-shirt 20+ years ago at a thrift store for just a dollar & it was my very first Damned T-shirt (my other in my collection is here), and a very lucky find. It is not an original (Smash It Up was released as a single in 1979), but is from the mid-80s, and is very soft and thin – one of my favorite tees to wear. Those of you who aren’t familiar with the band The Damned might also know this song as being covered by The Offspring back in 1995 – the same year I found this shirt. Now if only I could find a shirt for New Rose, their first single and my favorite song by them…maybe someday!
