That’s Why They Call It a Johnny Jump-Up

A couple weeks ago, my friend and I were wondering why everyone calls them Johnny Jump-Ups. At stores they aren’t called that…were they ever actually called that? Guess this answers that question. The wisdom you get from thrifting.

Vintage Harbor

Loved these ships, but couldn’t handle the $50 price tag at the thrift store.

Surfing Raisin

Hello there, Mr. California Raisin. I wasn’t expecting to see you here amongst the ugly trinkets. It’s been, oh, 20 some years…How’ve you been?

Ewwww

Seriously, how old is this?!? Who donated this?!? Who put this out for sale?!? Who is gonna buy and use this now?!? Also, MINT FLAVORED?!?

Viking Treasure

It took viking-like strength for me NOT to buy this.

Talking Viewmaster

Anyone ever have one of these? Was is cool? I didn’t want to spend $20 at the store to find out, even with the print out of an Ebay auction closing price to show me that it was worth that. Also, I think it is super lame when thrift stores do that.

Be Safe!

Because nothing says “Have a safe new year!” like a beanie.

Vintage Christmas Lights

I AM looking for vintage Christmas lights…but not Kmart ones. Even if they are “Professional Grade”.
