Last night at Club Red Thursdays in Ferndale, my friend (and selling neighbor for the night) Phil recognized a group of guys checking out our stuff for sale as the band The Whigs. They were playing that night at the Magic Bag which is also in Ferndale, and had decided to take a walk and explore the downtown area!

They were a really nice guys, and it was cool to talk with them for a while! Tim and Julian from the band, and their friend Matt bought a few vintage T shirts from me (and may I say, “Great choices!”) and were nice enough to let me take their picture for the blog!

I’m quite sure that everyone who watched last week’s episode of “Bones” to catch a glimpse of our Hands Across America T shirt missed seeing the shirt. Dan and I had to rewatch the show before we noticed it in the background for a split second, but it was there! Here is a (blurry) screen shot of the T shirt on the show (yep, that’s it in the upper right corner on the TV screen!).

A props guy from Fox Studios called me yesterday wanting to buy a Hands Across America T shirt off of RewareVintage.com for an upcoming Bones episode where they find a time capsule from the 80’s. No kidding! It’ll be on TV sometime in November - I’ll make sure to post when as it comes up sooner!!!

Jael from America’s Next Top Model was back in her hometown (yes, Detroit) this week and Wednesday she was at the Baar Bazaar at the Garden Bowl with some friends! She managed to get a break from taking pictures with everyone there long enough to shop the Reware Vintage table, buy a few items from me for her and her boyfriend, and pick out the perfect record wristcuff to wear back on the streets of Los Angeles. Of course, I couldn’t help but ask for a picture of her with her new cuff, and she was more than happy to strike a pose.

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of meeting several members of Set Your Goals at the Baar Bazaar in the Garden Bowl in Detroit. Dave Yoha, their guitarist, bought a 1970’s Pepsi Marathon T shirt from us, and Care from Glass Action was nice enought to take a picture with her phone for me. Thanks Care and Dave!
