Our Christmas-ed Home

It’s been a quite a busy season, but as it is wrapping up and winding down, we’ve definitely been getting in the holiday spirit over here! We’ve been decorating, crafting, cooking and enjoying the snow here in Michigan. I thought it’d be a great time to show you how our home is decorated for Christmas!

Of course, our record display has changed to our favorite Christmas vinyl. Della, Roy and I have had some fantastic dance parties to these the past couple of weeks.

We picked up this adorable “Charlie Brown tree” at Eastern Market, and the kids had a great time coloring ornaments to go on it.

Some baker’s twine and some clothespins made a great display for all the cards we have been getting!

We spent an afternoon making mini-Christmas trees using pinecones, perler beads and cotton balls, like the kids had seen in one of my vintage craft books. This was one of my favorite projects of the whole year with them – they had so much fun with it!

Our real Christmas tree in our living room is full of handmade ornaments and family treasures.

For the first time, Roy was able to spell out Merry Christmas with our Uncle Goose blocks! Here they are with the mangers they made in school, a picture from last year’s holiday season and a vintage MCM reindeer I thrifted (plus a random toy, just like every other piece of furniture in our home).

Roy has been drawing all sorts of pictures for our wall, and this is my fave.

And my silver Christmas tree! It is decorated with vintage ornaments and gifted ornaments from friends, and I love it so much.

From all of us, thank you for supporting my business & family in 2016. Finding vintage and using my creativity is my absolute dream job, and I love each and every day of it. None of that would be possible without you guys – thank you so much for being the best customers! I wish each of you a fantastic holiday and a happy 2017 with all my heart. I’ll be taking the next week off, but I’ll see you soon. XO!
