I am so happy to announce that I teamed up again this year with Metro Detroit’s Goodwill stores to curate another YB Blue Pop-Up Shop inside Eastern Market! Last year I had a blast shopping through the stores and pulling my favorite finds, and this year’s finds were EVEN MORE ASTOUNDING! I couldn’t believe some of the stuff I was stumbling on while hunting. Everything I picked will be for sale this Sunday in Shed 2 at Eastern Market in Detroit, from 10-4 during the Sunday Street Market. And this year, I’ll be there too! Come by and say hi and check out some of the thrift glory we have for sale there.
A little sample for your vintage pleasure…
This and lots more Mid Century Modern furniture!
All sorts of vintage kitsch. Funny beer mugs, owls, crewel art, teak things, squirrels. All the important kitsch categories will be included.
And you know I had to include all sorts of finds for handmade fans, like this home-sewn Noah’s Ark tote bag. Also, vintage untouched fabric waiting to finally be made into something awesome.
Oh, and of course CLOTHES! All sorts of killer brands from today and decades ago – Asos, Leslie Fay, Banana Republic, Gap. I didn’t forget the T shirts either – There’s some great T’s to find as well, from U2 to Johnny Cash.
My absolute favorite in the shop – this framed 1979 Detroit Symphony Orchestra Poster. This. Beautiful. Poster.
Best thing about the YB Blue Pop Up shop? It’s all thrift prices! DANG GOOD THRIFT PRICES.
So come on down, and get yourself a treasure to help out our community. And gimme a high five/hug/taco. See you there, xo!
