Mix Tape!

It’s been a long time since I wrote a Mix Tape post! Here’s some things that we’ve been up to that I haven’t shared with you guys, and what we’ve been enjoying lately…

Watching
We are hooked on The Americans! Have you watched it yet?

Listening
Been loving Depeche Mode’s “Delta Machine” and David Bowie’s “The Next Day”. We’ve also had “The Muppet Movie Soundtrack” on the record player a lot – Roy likes “Kermi’s Song” (Rainbow Connection).

Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it out record shopping on Record Store Day. Did you? What was on your RSD shopping list?

Reading
“Be Good – How to Navigate the Ethics of Everything” by Randy Cohen

“Carrots Love Tomatoes” by Louise Riotte, to help plan this year’s garden

“Decorate” by Holly Becker and Joanna Copestick for design inspiration

and I’ve been slowly catching up on my blog reader. Some of my favorite posts -

I love these washi tape frames on Design Sponge

This mason jar pincushion tutorial from Megan Nielsen is so easy and functional!

Love this ladder turned clothing rack, via Curbly

And some of my favorite finds lately:

These pattern paint rollers from Itch from Kitsch would be great for so many projects!

Docs for kids. Enough said.

I LOVE these minty sandals from Modcloth!

Also
I was very sad to hear of Lilly Pulitzer’s passing. Her designs are timeless and beautiful, and she will be missed!

I can’t stop laughing at Reasons Why My Son is Crying!

and now that spring is here, I am happily starting to plan our garden, bringing flowers from our yard into the house, and opening our windows to let the sunshine and fresh air in. Happy Spring everyone!
