I’m still in awe from the Detroit Urban Craft Fair. It has been nearly two weeks, and I am filled with excitement, inspiration and a little bit of exhaustion from Handmade Detroit’s biggest event of the year!
It was a truly incredible couple of days, and every crafter and artist brought creativity and originality to the fair. I felt so lucky to be in a room with all of that talent! Some of my favorite parts of DUCF were
Rust Belt Market’s Gingerbread House – each kid in the fair got to help decorate it and loved looking at all of the “candy” on it!
Our neighbors – The Foraging Florist!
Watching Roy hanging with our friends (and dancing to DJ Dave)
Getting a new picture of my booth – thanks to Anne at Indie Lovely!
Debuting new jewelry (coming to the site soon too)!
Spending the weekend with these ladies!
Thank you to all involved in DUCF – all the crafters, artists, volunteers and sponsors, the Masonic Temple and their staff and especially to all of the nearly 4,000 shoppers! I am so happy to be part of the creative community in Detroit – you all are endlessly inspiring!
