An Autumn Fun Weekend
This weekend was a blast! Friday night we went to see The Raveonettes. Dan, Josh and I ate dinner beforehand in the Majestic Cafe and then joined Lauren upstairs in the Magic Stick to see the show.
I wore:
an 80’s gold sweater I’d just picked up on my last buying trip for the website
Gap jeans
black 70’s cowboy boots
and a vintage necklace my friend Mary gave me.
The Raveonettes were amazing as always. I think this is my 5th time seeing them? This was definitely one of my favorite performances, and I was really excited that I was able to grab some video this time.

After the show, I was able to meet Sune Rose Wagner, and he carved his signature into my vinyl copy of “In and Out of Control” with Dan’s pocket knife. He told me that he had never been asked to do that before, so I have the first record he’s ever carved into! Exciting stuff.
Saturday Dan worked all day while I was being domestic. I made my favorite fall cookies – oatmeal butterscotch. Saturday night we headed out to Frasier to my brother’s party, and had a great time catching up with him and his wife, Kris (also a crafter!)
Sunday I managed to steal Dan away from work again for a trip to the cider mill with Kona. Yates Cider Mill is my favorite (and childhood) cider mill, and they have the absolute best donuts ever. It was Kona’s first time there, and she had a great time walking around the area with us, and especially meeting the goats and sheep at the petting zoo.
Coffee with Stephanie and a home cooked meal topped off the evening, and I was thoroughly exhausted. I love weekends like this…wish fall would last forever, but I know the snow will be coming soon!
