I’m happy to welcome another new store to the family of stores carrying Reware Vintage’s goods!

Back in Time in Savannah, Georgia is a retro and vintage store that carries lots of other great stuff made from vintage vinyl, plus lots of other fun nostalgic gifts! I’m very excited that they will be carrying both our Record Notebooks and our Record Earrings!

Just added today to RewareVintage – Button Montage Necklaces! Right now, there’s a green arc necklace and a hot pink teardrop necklace available. They are collections of vintage buttons hand sewn onto thick stiff felt cut-outs pendants, and they handmade by yours truly. I’m hoping to make more next week in other colors, shapes and sizes!

As with most of my crafty endeavors, this idea came from me trying to think of something I could do with all of these great vintage buttons I’ve collected over the years. Apparently, my best creativity comes from the need to purge my office. Past crafts created by necessity of using something I’d been given or had accumulated: vintage flannel scarves, lots of bags and purses, pouches, record sleeve cards, and even record earrings.

Someone who had been shopping on the website called me today and remarked that he was shocked that I put my personal cell phone number on the contact page. I get that a lot, actually.

Maybe it is crazy, but then again, people call me and appreciate being able to, so it’s cool with me! Go ahead and call me, really! (At a reasonable hour, please)
