A milestone!

I am super excited this week to be celebrating a huge milestone for Reware Vintage – we’ve now made over 1000 record notebooks!

Number 1000 was Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”, which I love anyways so I think I need to keep this one to frame or something…

In celebration of the 1000 notebook mark, I’m putting ALL record notebooks on sale this week for 1000 pennies (that’s $10.00 for the math challenged). This is the cheapest I have ever sold these notebooks for, so buy them up this week before the holiday rush! This sale will run until next Monday, October 6th and I will be loading new notebooks every day this week, so check back to see what is new and on sale!

While you are shopping for your new favorite, refillable, last-you-a-lifetime notebook check out all the new items in the clearance section of the site, too! Lots of great stuff for guys and girls starting at just $3!

Thanks to everyone who has bought a notebook from me, all the stores that carry our record notebooks, and everyone who has sold or given me records to use!

I can’t wait to hit 2000 now!!!!

Last evening Anna and her friend (and our newest model) Trestin modeled some new items for our site! We shot in front of Pontiac’s biggest real estate blunder, the Silverdome and on the Oakland University campus and ended the night with dinner and drinks at Rodeo – the newest restaurant in downtown Pontiac.

There will be a bunch of new skirts, dresses and western shirts available soon – check out some of the pics on our Flickr page!

Birthday wishes

I’d like to wish Noir Leather a Happy Birthday this week as they turn 25 years old!

Keith Howarth of Noir Leather in Royal Oak, Michigan gave me my start into vintage clothing 11 years ago when he gave me my first buying job for his other (now defunct) store, Vintage Noir. After working for Keith for 6 months, I ventured into Ebay and went on to work for other stores closer to my new home away from home in college. I appreciate that Keith gave a chance to me at 19 years old and gave me a taste of what would later be a life-long love of vintage clothing! Years later, Keith now carries our record notebooks in Noir Leather and I am happy to be selling my products in his store again!

Check out this old TV spot for Noir Leather on YouTube.

Happy Birthday and Congratulations on 25 years, Noir Leather!
