Dan found this auction on ebay yesterday and sent me the link. I was amazed! As a Levi’s collector, I only wish one day I could have enough spare cash laying around to spend on a 100+ year old pair of Levis jeans. The auction closes in four hours and the jeans are at $17,600 right now. I’m betting they close at $30, 000 - I’ll post the closing price when the auction ends.

Update: The jeans closed at $36, 099. I watched the price jump over $10, 000 dollars in the last 15 seconds. Wow! Very, very cool.

From time to time I find some really fun things (and some really bizarre) in the record sleeves that I pick up to use for record notebooks. Now that I have a functioning scanner again - yay! - I thought I’d begin posting them for your viewing pleasure in a new blog series called “Lost and Found”.

This T shirt order form was included in the Rocky Soundtrack record. I’ve never seen this T shirt before, but I so need to find one of these! Shipping was only 50 cents - wouldn’t that be fantastic now?

My friend Care from Glass Action and I were neighbors and met a number of really cool people (including a new store that may carry my record notebooks and a new cheap record hook-up) and had a great time in a totally new-to-us selling environment. I think I’ll be signing up for more record shows in the future!

I’ve probably asked my friend Sean to model for RewareVintage.com a dozen times over the past year and he’s always said yes, but for some reason I dragged ass actually taking him up on it. Now that he’s moving to Las Vegas with his girlfriend (and one of my favorite people) Amanda in just over a week, I finally got my act together and brought clothing over to his place to shoot yesterday. It’s the first in several shoots I’ll be doing over the next month to begin to prepare for the holiday rush (and cold weather we can’t shoot in).
