Come craft with us this weekend at the Swap-O-Rama-Rama!

The Swap-O-Rama-Rama is presented by Handmade Detroit and will be a part of the Green Street Fair in downtown Plymouth, Michigan this weekend.

The fair is from 10am-7-pm on Saturday May 3rd and from 10 am-5pm on Sunday, and Swap-O-Rama-Rama will be open the entire time! Using donated clothing, sewing machines and craft supplies, we will be teaching people of all ages how to sew and turn old clothing into something new - all for free!

There are a dozen different tutorials (all are no-sew or basic sewing knowledge geared) that we will have around our tent for participants to use, and volunteers will be there to help guide people through the process! Sewers are also encouraged to take clothing home with them, and using tutorials posted on the Handmade Detroit site - handmadedetroit.com - make goodies from home as well!

Also at the Green Street Fair - Handmade Detroit presents the Rethunk booth - a tent of vendors selling crafts made from recycled materials, or crafts that promote a green lifestyle! Of course Reware Vintage will be there - Dan will be selling record notebooks, earrings, our new record bracelets, and other crafts I’ve whipped up out of reclaimed materials!
