Our favorite interview!
While I’ve done a couple online interviews with college students about our business, a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of having my first in-person interview (and my favorite) with a young student named Jasmine.
Jasmine was writing and presenting an oral presentation on vintage clothing from the 1950’s through the 1980’s to her class, and was a lot of fun to talk with! She was already very knowledgeable about women’s vintage and current fashions, especially for someone in the 6th grade! Jasmine and I looked through our website inventory so she could see real examples of what she had read about, and we talked about the trends in clothing and pop culture and fashion icons in each decade.
I had a real blast hanging out with Jasmine, and I was very proud to be her “expert” for her project. She sent me a really cute thank you card to thank me afterwards and let me know how it went. Her grade? An A++ !!!!!
